Guest Artists Space (G.A.S.) Foundation is a dynamic cultural center dedicated to fostering creative exchange, interdisciplinary research, and ecological practices. The foundation provides an immersive, supportive environment where global practitioners can dedicate focused time and space to experimentation, knowledge exchange, and the deep development of their craft.
As a participant in the G.A.S. International Research & Creative Residency (2027–28), you will embark on a 4- to 8-week self-funded program hosted at either G.A.S. Lagos or the G.A.S. In this residency, you will conduct research and fieldwork while engaging with the foundation's core strands of inquiry: Ecology, Farming and Food, Materiality, Craft and Identity, or Archives and Publishing.
Applicants should be creative, cultural, research, or ecological practitioners working across visual arts, architecture, ceramics, writing, agroecology, or sustainable ecology. G.A.S. Foundation welcomes dedicated professionals ready to reflect on their work and contribute to a vibrant international community of thinkers and makers.
Interested candidates can apply via the G.A.S. Foundation Application Portal before the deadline on December 7, 2026.
